Ruby O'Dowdle
Ruby O'Dowdle is a working girl at the Hard Drive Saloon, along with Sophie Delacasino and Fat Maizie.
Background
According to Mrs. Macintosh, Ruby was once married to "the O'Dowdle boy" in Magdalena, New Mexico, but the marriage was cut short when her husband died of fever three months later.
Day 2 Afternoon
The Stranger is told that Ruby has a gun, and can give her flowers to distract her which causes her to go downstairs. The gun is being cleaned downstairs by Gus Callan, so the Stranger isn't able to acquire it. Later on, the Stranger can visit again but she is visited by Nate Trotter. Leave the Hard Drive and return, finding Nate at the bar. Distracting him is done by giving him Sugar Cubes, which he will leave to give to his horse Florabelle. Now Ruby can be spoken with. Offer her the flowers again and she'll go downstairs to put them in water. The gun is in the dresser this time, and can be taken.
Day 3 Afternoon
Oona Canute will tell you to check on Ruby, who is worried about Nate who is sick. Once Nate is cured, revisit Ruby. Tell her that "she still seems pretty loose" and she will laugh, bidding the Stranger goodbye.

In the ending where the Stranger sides with Nate Trotter, she marries Nate and the two have several children.
