Esther Hart

Esther Hart was a Second Class passenger. She is referred to by Leyland Trask after he mentions he has visited her because she would not sleep on the Titanic because she felt that to call a ship "unsinkable" flew in the face of God.

Notes

1. Esther Hart was a real Second Class passenger and was the mother of fellow survivor Eva Hart. She survived the sinking.
2. Hart genuinely did feel it was wrong for Titanic to be called unsinkable and did actually stay up all night as a result.
