Dale Belcher is a citizen of Diamondback. Along with his brother, Cobb, he terrorizes the other citizens to the point that they say the Belchers practically own the town.
Background
When the Belchers tried to burn down the Curiosity Shop, they were stopped by the Stranger, who shoots Cobb and arrests Dell, who surrendered. The Stranger was, for this act of heroism, declared Sheriff of Diamondback by Cosimo Macintosh on the same day.
The Stranger has the option of shooting Dell immediately after shooting Cobb. If The Stranger chooses to let him live, Dell can be found in the Diamondback Jail. Talking to him during his incarceration can reveal information about The Kid that can be useful when he arrives in Diamondback.
