Cobb Belcher

Cobb Belcher is a citizen of Diamondback. Along with his brother, Dale, he terrorizes the other citizens to the point that they say the Belchers practically own the town.
Background
When the Belchers tried to burn down the Curiosity Shop, they were stopped by the Stranger, who shot Cobb. The Stranger was, for this act of heroism, declared Sheriff of Diamondback by Cosimo Macintosh on the same day.
Notes
Although shooting Cobb is necessary to advance the story, it can only be done once he has verbally threatened to burn down the Curiosity Shop. In any other instance, shooting him will be treated as shooting an innocent person and lead to a game over.
Glitches
- Once Cobb has been shot, shooting his body again will count as shooting an innocent person, leading to a game over screen.
- During Day 2, If Sophie Delacasino is first talked to after Chet Flippo tells the Stranger to stop the Belchers from burning down Help's Curiosity Shop, Cobb will teleport to his location in the saloon. Talking to him will trigger the conversation involving him and Dell. After the line, "Let's torch the place," he will teleport back to his location outside Help's shop with his gun raised.
