John Thayer is an unseen passenger in the game.
Importance
- When Carlson visits the Purser's Office, he hears the latter muttering the name 'Thayer'. The Purser says that he needs a telegram to be sent from the Wireless Room so offer to do it for him.
- After sending it return to the Purser's Office to tell him that the telegram has been sent. The Purser will then leave the office which will allow Carlson to look at the Cargo Manifest.
Trivia
- Thayer was a real-life First Class passenger. He survived the disaster along with his mother after jumping from the sinking vessel while his father perished. His mother eventually died on the 32nd anniversary of the collision.
