Jackalope Jones
Jackalope Jones is a resident of Diamondback.
Background
Jones is the love interest of Mountain Laurel and asks the Stranger for help several times when the two fight. He provides information about the town, Sheriff Bill Purvis, the Yunni Indians, and the infamous Belcher brothers.
Day 3 Morning
Mountain Laurel is trying to find Jackalope to shoot him after she catches him talking to Fat Maizie. Jackalope can be found at the entrance to town and asks for help finding a ring to propose to Laurel. He attempts to do so but she tries to shoot him regardless. He then is found hiding behind a cactus near the graveyard and upset that Laurel won't speak with him.
Day 3 Night
The Stranger can buy Chet Flippo a drink at the Hard Drive, and he will mention that Jackalope is now hiding in the chicken coop. He is found there with Fat Maizie, and will ask the Stranger to apologize to Laurel for him.
Notes
Jones will give the Stranger an Ace of Spades card for luck at the poker table.
