Enid was, together with Charles, an acquaintance of Daisy Cashmore's.

On the evening of 14 April, the RMS Titanic received a wireless telegram from Charles and Enid, announcing that they were meeting Cashmore together when the Titanic docked at New York, on Wednesday, 17 April, 1912.
